IDNS is a scam.<\/h1>\n

Today I received this in the mail.\u00a0 It reminded me that several of our clients contacted me that they got this same letter.\u00a0 Let me very clear.\u00a0 This company is a scam. IDNS (Internet Domain Name Service) is not a legitimate service provider. Through this letter away and never waste your time contacting them or worrying about it.\u00a0 While they may be a real company – they are nothing but a fraud.\u00a0 They either purchase names and addresses from the domain name hosting companies or do something known as “scraping” domain owner contact information from the internet.\u00a0 <\/p>\n

Once they grab your name and mailing information they send out official-looking letters like this warning the domain name owner that their domain is expiring and offer, for a fee to renew the domain which they DO NOT host or manage for you.\u00a0 In addition, they charge an exorbitant fee for this “fake” service.\u00a0 Most domains are hosted at legitimate companies like:<\/p>\n
